Fotbal

Fotbal, known as soccer in some countries, is a team sport played between two teams, typically consisting of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score more goals than the opposing team by getting a spherical ball into the opponent’s net, using any part of the body except for the hands and arms (goalkeepers are an exception). The game is played on a rectangular field, known as a pitch, with a goal at each end. Fotbal is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, established by the International Football Association Board (IFAB).

The sport is renowned for its global popularity, being played at both amateur and professional levels. It’s played in leagues, tournaments, and international competitions, such as the FIFA World Cup. The sport emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and skill, and it has a significant cultural impact across many societies, serving as a source of national pride and community identity.
